What you control
Bluehall teaches in three modes. You decide which ones your child can use.
- Interactive Lecture teaches the topic in full, with worked examples. It is the default.
- Tutor Mode follows their lead, without doing the work for them.
- Open Mode does exactly what they ask, answers included. Switch it off if you would rather.
- Language: lock the language the tutor teaches in.
- Emails: choose which session and weekly reviews you get.
- Plans: choose each child’s plan, and change it any time.

Questions parents ask
- Will it just do their homework for them?
- No. Interactive Lecture, the default, teaches the topic in full and checks they follow, and Tutor Mode helps without doing the work for them. Open Mode does exactly what they ask, answers included, and you decide whether they can use it.
- How is this different from ChatGPT?
- A general chatbot is built to answer anything. Bluehall is built to teach your child’s course: it talks with them, sees their working as they write it, knows their course, and remembers their sessions and goals.
- Can I see everything they say?
- You see the summary, review and transcript of every session, their goals and their study plan, and we email you if a session raises a concern for their wellbeing. Your child is shown all of this before they link.
- Can my child use Bluehall without me?
- Yes. Students can sign up on their own. A parent account lets you follow along and manage billing if you want to.
- I have more than one child.
- Link each of them to your account, and choose a plan for each. It all comes to one bill.
